THE STUDIO
Helmed by Emma Hursey, Doing Me Doing You is a seasoned design practice, sized to give each project exactly the hands-on attention it needs. We have been doing characterful work since 2012. We push to understand the past, present and future of your business before bringing it to life across branding, packaging, websites and communications.
We’ve done visual communication for brands, founders, start-ups and institutions. We pride ourselves on forging meaningful relationships and thrive when creative is led by story, aligned by values. With a friendly, can-do approach to each project, we bring ideas to life using design, words and strategy – so that you look, sound and do like you.
Our studio is based in Australia’s Rainbow Beach, where we work with clients both locally and internationally. We’re proudly remote since 2019. Our team is a global network of creative talent and local producers tailored to your project.

ABOUT EMMA
Emma Hursey is an award-winning British designer. For over 12 years, she has fine-tuned a surprising and highly considered approach to visuals and words – ensuring wit, joy and relevance in a saturated world. Through her career she has worked at top brands and institutions in London and Berlin, been a founding member of design collective The Boys Club, and exhibited her work at the V&A Museum, BFI and 48h Neukölln. With a hands-on involvement in every project, Emma collaborates with an experienced and talented network of freelance designers, web development and production partners. Outside of design, she surfs daily, cooks messy and elaborate meals, and is learning to oil paint. She has lived in London, in Berlin, and briefly on a Corsican commune before relocating to Australia’s Rainbow Beach in 2019.
