Little Parliament Cafe

Little Parliament is all about conversations with friends who become like family, and sharing the things that are important to you. All this — while indulging in their fresh, locally sourced foods and epic coffee. By expanding an existing logo across a brand system for the local’s favourite cafe, we created an identity that is a love letter to the area and tight-knit community of Rainbow Beach, Australia.

  • Little Sun opened with just their arched logo, sage colour palette and a story. We started working with them shortly after they opened. Collaborating closely with the owner of Little Parliament, Carly Ladas, we centred much of what we created for the business around her words and storytelling. The branding becomes a love letter to the area and tight-knit community of Rainbow Beach.

It was important to root the cafe’s identity in the small town’s relaxed lifestyle and eclectic community. This was captured with a library of various illustration styles we developed, with the subject matter of all our visuals a continuous celebration of the cafe’s locality.

Alongside Carly, we created everything; from essentials such as takeaway coffee cups and menus, to gift vouchers, signage, OOH, social media direction and branded products. Aligning with the values of the business, all production is in Australia, and as often as possible with local businesses.
